SF Giants 2012

March 14, 2012 8:36 pm

Everyone seems to have forgotten about our injuries last year. If we stay healthy, we should win around 95 games next year. Before you right me off, let me explain. At one time last year we could have filled an entire lineup card with players on the DL with the names like Posey, Sanchez, Schierholtz, and even Sandoval. The Giants are coming off a horrible year of injuries that no doubtly deserve the blame for our fall last year. So for all of you who insist on saying we will fall short this year because of Sabeans lack of free agent signing, you need to stop and think about health.

*My unprofessional projections*

-Lineup for 2012-

Cabrera .270-.280 30-40SB which is a huge improvment from Torres' numbers of last year. (.220 4HR)

F. Sanchez .290-.310 25-30SB

Posey .290-.310 25-30HR

Sandoval .290-.310 30-35HR

Schierholtz .270-.280 18-22HR

Belt .270-.280 18-22HR if not better

Crawford obvious hitting issues,.220-.240, but makes up for it with great defense at short Pagan Poor hitting, .220-.240 but typical number 8 hitting numbers.

Look for a breakout year from Belt.

Giants 2012

Don't forget sportsfans, we have our catcher coming back, Buster Posey and we signed Melky Cabrera. Posey could be getting up from behind the dish and that gives us another bat on the field.  We have good prospects in the catcher department.  Pitching we have our new addition Ryan Volgelsong who had a breakout year.  When we see that Tim Lincecum is getting more run support, the SF Giants should be looking good.
